People who know Denise and myself, know that we are property finders. Lots of people ask us to sell houses, which we don’t do, because that would be unethical. In a past post, you may remember (all two of you), that a golf developer had offered us silly money and a car for pushing their new resort, which we later found had no planning permission………This was several months ago and after initially declining their offer, saw the bad news in the local press. This week’s local paper, the “Costa Blanca News”, tells us that the building has been frozen, as the regional department for public works has not reclassified the land, from its rural origins. 90 percent of homes have been sold, most of them British.
Corruption? Surely Not!
The plans never got full council approval either and the Mayor and another councillor were banned from voting anyway as they previously sold properties for the company, Grupo Trampolin. Life has its ups and downs I suppose. They are to go to the Supreme Court if they don’t get their way apparently, some may say that they would be complaining that the bribes didn’t work, but I couldn’t possibly comment.
Get Some Help
If you don’t use a reputable, ethical company like ours to help you find your home in Spain, at least engage solicitors and do some research before you buy, particularly off plan. Somebody out their supposing to look after buyers’ interests have fouled up. You know it makes sense!
