It seems that every time you turn on the box in the UK, there is a programme knocking life in Spain. Usually property that has gone wrong but now propaganda about the euro from BBC2 who should know better…………
When calculating the cost of eating out now in the UK, France and Spain, Spain came out the most expensive, which as we all know who live here is a complete lot of bollocks.
Well Mr Paxman, get your facts right; if you want to eat cheaply, go to my local chinese and have a three course meal with half a bottle of wine for €4.50. Alternatively spend upwards of this somewhere else in increments that suit your budget. Get it right man.
On the same night we saw the usual idiots who sold up in the UK and neglected to translate the building permission from the Ajuntiamente. Surprise they had to wait six months to complete their house. Oh and of course the poor souls employed cowboys who didn’t build properly. That would never happen in the UK would it?
To make me even more frustrated, they went on by saying that if they had kept their big house in the UK they would have made another quarter of a million. Tough! The stupid woman then said she would rather live in a shed in the UK than in their villa near Alicante. Where do they get these people from?????
